How to Arrange Teeny Tiny Apartment? -- Good Questions

Pin it Q: I'm going back to grad school in New York after seven years of living in Chicago. Shocked by the prices and conditions of every apartment I saw in Brooklyn, I took subsidized housing from my University sight unseen. Now that I've seen it, I can't believe how small it is! 250 square feet if we are being generous, with tons of nooks and crannies (but no bathtub, sigh). It's pretty and clean, but I cannot figure out how to make it cute and functional without spending a ton of money...
